MSC Hosts a Record-Breaking MAMT 2026
The event was held across two outstanding venues. Saturday and Sunday took place at King Edward VI School, Edgbaston, while the Ladies Badminton on Monday was hosted at WV Aldersley in Wolverhampton. Both venues provided exceptional facilities and beautiful grounds, perfectly supporting the scale and ambition of this year’s tournament. The weekend was made even more special by fantastic weather, particularly on Sunday, where despite a 100% rain forecast, not a drop fell. A small but meaningful blessing that added to the spirit of the occasion.
MSC proudly worked in partnership with the COEJ team to deliver this landmark event. Behind the scenes, months of planning and preparation went into making MAMT 2026 a success. From visiting and securing venues, to building detailed schedules across five sports for hundreds of participants, ensuring smooth timings with no clashes, and managing logistics at scale — every detail was carefully considered.
This included coordinating catering across all three days (breakfast, lunch and dinner), sourcing umpires and referees for all sports, managing budgets, and organising over 270 trophies. The scale of the operation reflects the immense effort required to deliver an event of this calibre.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the incredible volunteers who made it all possible. From the first aid teams, to those preparing tea from as early as 4am (2000+ cups were drunk across Sat/Sun), to the AV teams who set up and managed production across a large site — your dedication did not go unnoticed.
Special appreciation also to those who:
- Packed and delivered meals with precision and care
- Collected and transported catering to site
- Supported venue setup and takedown
- Ensured smooth operations as runners / umpires throughout the day
- Welcomed participants and spectators at registration desks
- Kept everyone upto date through seemless management of Tournify
- Stayed behind each evening to tidy and reset
…and the many others working tirelessly behind the scenes. Events like this are only possible through collective effort, and MSC is deeply grateful to every single volunteer.
To all the participants — congratulations. Your dedication, sportsmanship and energy were inspiring. Whether you took home a trophy or not, this weekend was about far more than results. It was about coming together as a community, building bonds, and celebrating the spirit of sisterhood and unity. It was especially uplifting to see so many young participants — a powerful sign for the future of our community.
We also extend our thanks to all sports coordinators and coaches, whose guidance, commitment and passion in the lead-up to the event played a crucial role in preparing our teams and ensuring high standards across all competitions.
To the spectators, thank you for bringing such an incredible atmosphere. Your support, energy and encouragement lifted the entire event. And to all participants and supporters who travelled from other jamaats — we were truly honoured to host you.
MAMT 2026 was more than just a tournament. It was a reunion of friends and families, a space to reconnect, and a reminder of what makes our community so special. The energy, the smiles, the shared moments — that is the spirit of MAMT.
MSC is proud to have hosted such a memorable event and looks forward to continuing to build on this success in the years to come.
