Escape to Snowdonia

Masoomin Sports Club (MSC) are delighted to announce that our popular annual Snowdon event is back for 2024 and once again, open for both, Ladies & Gents*. The event will be held from 19th April 2024 to 21 April 2024 (2 Nights). Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come basis. The cost for the weekend including accommodation and food will be £150** per person (non-refundable).

Accommodation

In the heart of Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, Arete Outdoor Centre is a residential activity centre in Llanrug. Further information can be found here: https://www.aretecentre.co.uk/accommodation/

Route for the climb

All climbers will depart from the accommodation on Saturday at 7:30 am. The Pyg/Miners circular walk is one of the classic Snowdon ascent routes and probably the most popular. It usually involves ascending via the Pyg Track and then returning along the Miners’ Track. The total distance is 7.4 miles (11.9km) and you should allow 6-7 hours. Further details will be provided via email to all participants.
